REAMS was appointed by defence technology and security company, QinetiQ PLC, to carry out a thorough asset review of their UK estate and planned maintenance strategy.
REAMS was tasked with carrying out detailed asset and condition surveys of the high security estate. In addition to this, REAMS was asked to provide QinetiQ with sufficient asset information to allow the formulation of a planned maintenance regime and associated labour strategy.
This project encompassed around 100,000m2 of a variety of properties, including data centres, offices, laboratories and test facilities.
Reporting was made on a building by building basis and also estate wide, to allow the client to analyse the findings and inform management decision making around future maintenance requirements. The project was carried out using in-house technology provided by both REAMS and in-house CAFM from QinetiQ.
