Project

REAMS was appointed by facilities management provider, Norland Managed Services, to provide asset and condition surveys across the Ernst & Young commercial portfolio.

REAMS worked with engineering and ICT team members to develop the specification and brief with a defined set of outputs, that would meet the project objectives.

The project involved the surveying and assessment of 15 corporate locations through the UK, totalling some 40,000m2.

Individual site reports were produced following the surveying of all locations and assets utilising our in-house data collection system. Asset data, PPM regimes and labour allocation were loaded into the client’s CONCEPT system, allocating work orders and reporting principles.

Objectives:

  • Implement a bar coding regime
  • Deliver a cost plan
  • Identify remedial works bringing the estate up to standard
  • Identify future works covering the duration of the contract

Outcomes

  • £1.4 million of project works identified
  • 1645 additional maintainable assets identified
  • Client contract mobilisation KPI’s met
  • Risk mitigation of comprehensive fund against assets
  • Data loaded into CAFM and PM’s generated
