REAMS was appointed by facilities management provider, MITIE PLC, to provide asset and condition surveys across the City of London estate.
REAMS worked with technical services and information systems team members to develop the specification and brief with a defined set of outputs that would meet the project objectives.
The project involved the surveying and assessment of over 800 varied buildings, including key landmarks such as The Old Bailey and Mansion House, along with critical estates such as the City of London Police Headquarters.
Individual site reports were produced utilising our in-house data collection and reporting system.
Asset data, PPM regimes and labour allocation were loaded into the client’s MAXIMO system, allocating work orders and reporting principles.
Objectives:
Implement a bar coding regime
Deliver a cost plan
Identify remedial works bringing the estate up to standard
Identify future works covering the duration of the contract
Outcomes:
A multi-million pound portfolio of project works identified
Several thousand additional assets identified, and similarly excluded from the comprehensive fund
Client contract mobilisation KPI’s met
Risk mitigation of comprehensive fund against assets
